Kumquat Festival

Downtown’s biggest day: hundreds of vendors, kumquat pie, music and the whole county on 7th Street. Free admission and parking.

The chamber of commerce, then the Greater Dade City Chamber and now the Greater East Pasco Chamber of Commerce, held the first Kumquat Festival downtown in 1998, and it has been the last Saturday of January ever since.

It celebrates the fruit Dade City is known for: kumquats have been grown in the hills around it since 1912. Expect vendors from one end of 7th Street to the other, kumquat pie and everything else kumquat, music and the biggest crowd downtown sees all year. Admission and parking are free.
